There are three fundamental ways people interact with and learn from the world. Each has its strengths and blind spots. Real power comes from integrating all three.
There are three fundamental ways people interact with and learn from the world. Every person tends to favour one of them. But the goal is to integrate all three and use each one intentionally. Each has its strengths. Each has its blind spots. Real power emerges when you master all three. Then there is literally nothing standing in your way.
The Head Type: Thinking
The head type tries to master the world through thinking and understanding. They strive to solve every problem through rational analysis. But life is often too complex to grasp with the mind alone. Not everything can be explained logically or resolved through thought.
- Tends to navigate life from the intellect, strongly anchored in thinking.
- Avoids uncertainty by thinking more intensely.
- Often talks a lot. Their voice tends to sound cool and analytical.
The growth edge: connect more with feeling, and act more without overthinking first.
The Heart Type: Feeling
The heart type moves through the world via emotion. Decisions and problem-solving are strongly based on feelings. But feelings are valuable signals, not the full picture. How we interpret them matters enormously. And often there are rational reasons that explain why things are the way they are.
- Emotionally fixated, they can easily get lost in their feelings.
- They bring energy, warmth, and sometimes drama into their environment.
- Their voice sounds warm and expressive.
The growth edge: learn to observe emotions more soberly and less impulsively. Act even when emotions are overwhelming.
The Hand Type: Doing
The hand type is focused on practical execution and acts quickly. But they often forget to pause and reflect, to check whether what they're doing aligns with their values, and what consequences their actions might have.
- Just implements, without ifs or buts. Runs into walls.
- Strongly body-oriented, with a tendency toward control and sometimes obsession.
- Topics like setting boundaries and control are important themes for them.
The growth edge: learn to integrate emotions and reflect more consciously before acting, to avoid repeating the same challenges.
By uniting the qualities of all three (Head, Heart, and Hand), we become more powerful and more conscious in how we engage with the world. This is not about becoming someone else. It's about becoming more fully yourself.
